Community Support Rotary auction

Rotary Club Auction and Shrimp Feed

Date: Wed. October 18th, 2017

Time: 5:30 pm - Auction starts around 7pm

NEW LOCATION: Breakaway II Lounge 13726 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742. The auction will be held in their new event center warehouse located behind the sports lounge (not in the bar).

Menu: Paul Harp's home-made Maryland crab soup, steamed shrimp, Freshly grilled sausages prepared by Don Hoffman, side dishes, beer, soda, and other assorted items. We will also have veggie burgers by request.

Cost: $25.00 per person

(Must Be Over Age 21)

Donations Desperately Needed:

We are still in dire need of quality auction items to make the night a success. Most popular items from past events have been sports tickets, gift certificates, jewelry, gift baskets, vacations, electronics, etc. We hope you will be willing to donate items to the cause this year. You can give them to any member of the rotary auction committee, or bring them the night of the event.

In order to properly plan for food and logistics, please rsvp to the email listed below (even if not attending). Please indicate the number of tickets needed, any items you plan to donate (with approximate value), and if any special arrangements are needed in order to pick up your donation. Committee members will be making calls over the coming weeks in search for donations. Remember, "Its for the kids".

I hope you will join us on October 18th for the Rotary Auction & Shrimp Feed. In order for these types of events to continue, we need a strong showing from our membership. Spouses and guests are welcome (though you must be 21 or over to attend). Please bring your checkbooks as all items must be paid for at the event. If for some reason you are not able to attend, don't worry… fellow rotarians are always happy to bid for you...
