Twenty-three Washington County charitable organizations were awarded a total of $55,506.00 in grants on June 17, 2026 at a celebratory lunch held at The Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion,405 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. Grant applications this year totaled $177,593.78. With limited resources available and financial need so great at this time in our community, the grant distribution focus is on organizations that provide direct service to Washington County citizens in financial need.
The Charitable Foundation of the Rotary Club of Hagerstown, MD, has awarded $2,459,842.00 to local charitable organizations since starting the Foundation.
Ross was a dedicated Rotarian for 39 years (3/1/86 -10/22/25).
He was a wonderful Philanthropist to Rotary and the community.

We want to remind everyone to save the date for our upcoming Community Service Mixer with the Chamber of Commerce - Wednesday, July 22nd from 4:30pm to 6pm at our normal meeting location at the Morris Frock American Legion. We are having hors d’oeuvre, a cash bar, and a 50/50 raffle as we mix with Chamber members who may be interested in joining Rotary. We need a strong turnout of our own members to network with our Chamber guests, so please try to stop by and invite anyone else you think may be a prospective member.
