NEXT MEETING - Wednesday, April 1, 2026
The next meeting is Wednesday, April 1st, the speaker will be our own member, Salvation Army commander, Mark Van Meter. Mark will give us an update and additional details regarding the devastating fire at their Dual Highway location.
Losses were close to $750,000, including their entire merchandise inventory. The Salvation Army relies on revenue from this store to fund many services, including the newly renovated Women's and Children's center. As Rotarians, it is our duty to help each other and our community at large, so I am asking everyone to set aside some items to donate as you are going through spring-cleaning. Once Mark is able to secure a new space, we can set up a time to gather donations and restore some of the lost inventory. President Matt would encourage everyone to attend the meeting and find a way to help as best they can.
Hagerstown Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon.
