- A clearly documentable need within our community
- Limited availability of alternative sources of funding
- A benefit to individuals residing in or an organization operating in Washington County, MD
- Positive reputation of organization or individual making the request
- Ability to enhance the recognition of the Hagerstown Rotary Club within our community
- Annual Rotary fiscal year budget limitations
Typical Contribution Amount: $250
There is no formal request form. Requests can be emailed to Elizabeth Williams, Contributions Committee Chair, at elizabethdubya@gmail.com or sent via U.S. Mail to the President of the Hagerstown Rotary Club at PO Box 45, Hagerstown, MD 21741, and should include:
- Name, address, and contact information for the organization or individual
- A detailed description of the need and how funds will be used (no more than 50 words)
An organization or individual may receive a contribution only once per Club fiscal year (July through June). Please allow 3-4 weeks for the Hagerstown Rotary Club to review your request and issue a decision. If approved, you’ll receive instructions on how to collect your funding.
